By

Hello my dear Hubbers and readers! Welcome to my USB Toys Hub. I am very much a toy person and would be publishing hubs on toys, in addition to hubs relating to other cateegories. Well, these days I have chanced upon a new area of toys, these are the tech toys that probably computer geeks would be interested in. I started a USB Toy Blog just to blog about all these wonderful USB Toys. It is still quite new so please bear with me as I update my site with more USB Toys Gadgets in time to come. Anyways, I thought Hubpages would be a good place to create more buzz about these USB office toys, as well as to display some of these products on sale online. So please do enjoy my hub, and if you are interested, feel free to visit my blog for more details!

USB Toys - Overview

For this hub, I will give a brief overview of USB toys as well as introduce some of the more common USB Toys that we see in the market. In another one of my hubs, I have already talked about USB Missle Launchers. Please do take a look if you are free,

If you still do not know what is a USB Toy, a USB Toy is simply a USB device that is fun cool, can be displayed, looks good and is not a normal USB device! It also takes it power from the USB port found in almost all computers today! Hopefully the USB port will not be replaced soon, if not I will be out of business! (Just kidding of course!)

Anyways the USB port was created not just for any purpose but to standardise all the ports being used by the different computer hardware and peripherals. If you can remember, in the past, the printer would use the LPT port while the mouse or keyboard would use the PS/2 port. With the usb port, a new port standard was created to allow these computer hardware to all be plugged into the same port! And some wise geeks or alecks invented some USB Toys but that is another story....

Just look below to see the large variety of USB toys available in the market today:

USB Toys - Humping Dogs!!!

USB Toys - USB Sticks

The USB Toy universe is diverse, there are many many types of USB toys and just from that snapshot above it is not possible for you to fully understand the scope of USB toys that I am talking about right here. If you look at the ordinary USB sticks or mass storage devices, some people have even put in the "fun factor" to make the normal ugly USB devices more attractive and "toyish"! These ordinary USB devices that are used to store information so that they can be portable and easily transferred from one computer to another, has now been personalised in the form of many different characters, shapes and sizes.Take for instance the USB Mimobot line of USB sticks...they are nice cool and fun to own! I characterise them as USB toys too and take a look at whats available in the market below!

USB Toys - Last Words

This will not be the last time you hear from me about Toys or USB Toys! Be prepared for more to come in my series of Hubs on toys! Oh and if you are free do pop by to my usb toys blog as well! Do leave me your comments about my hub below if you have found it informative or enjoyed reading it. I know it is a short one but I will take any comments in mind Thanks!

Oh and one last thing, if you do not like dog usb toy thumb drives, maybe I can interest you in some usb toy Simpsons Mr Burns USB toy webcam. Check it out!
