Of course the book did not contain that many ideas for passive income, but the main thing is that by creating a business, you reap the benefits continually once it is set up.

Nobody said starting a business would be easy, especially a brick and mortar one. These days however things have changed with technological improvements. I am sure you know what is the internet, if not you would not be reading this hub. With the internet, businesses have been brought to the cyber world. This is the place where you can have the best passive income ideas! If you look at many successful companies today, they have made use of the internet to create hugh businesses. Just to name a few examples here, there is eBay which is a virtual marketplace for many different people all over the world to search for and to sell their own personal items online. Some people even use eBay to sell imported items. Basically eBay has revolutionised the idea of the flea market. Then there is Amazon which started as an online book store but has now become an online store selling almost anything under the sun.

I am not trying to ask you to create such mega businesses. But you can start things at a smaller scale first. Then there are other people who do not have their own goods to sell, they just set up a website and act as an affiliate. That means they help to sell and market items owned by others and for every single item which they sell, they are given a cut of the profits. Then there are also others who create their own websites and make money from them. By building a good website which lots of people frequent, you can add advertising to your website to make money, based on the theme of the website. There are also a few types of advertisements, some let you get paid every time a visitor clicks on an ad, while for others you get paid a fixed amount of money for every fixed amount of visitor which goes to your website.
