Long Cardigan

This hub is about long cardigans. Maybe you are wondering why do a hub on cardigans and more specifically long cardigans? Well if you are a fashionista, I think you would be glad that this would not be the first hub that I am doing on cardigans but there will be more hubs on cardigans to come, such as the cashmere cardigan, cropped cardigan or maybe even specialized male and female cardigans. But first, let me talk about the long cardigan. When I talk about the long cardigan, I do not necessarily mean those with long sleeves but it just has to be long, i.e. longer than half your upper body and covering past your waist. If you do not already know, a cardigan is actually a type of sweater or jumper that ties, buttons or zips down the front. This is different from a pullover where it is one single material with no opening in front to wear, you just pull it over your body.

One of the things that I have realized is that more women than men wear cardigans. I seldom see men wearing them and there is a bigger market for cardigans to be sold to women and I do see more long cardigan women and also ladies long cardigan being sold. Then another thing which I have observed is that most cardigans are black in colour. I guess black is an easy colour to match with your other clothings and accessories. Furthermore, its not easily dirtied. These are actually all the bestselling long cardigans. After black comes the grey long cardigan.

Of course, the cardigan is just like the sweater; there are some variations of the long cardigan such that you got some like a long cardigan sweater. Whereas sweaters are more pullover style, there is really no big distinction between cardigans and sweaters so some people looking for a long cardigan sweater is more or less looking for a long cardigan.
