LittleBigPlanet 2

Well do you remember Sackboy? If you can still recall that is Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet or LBP (I have got no idea why they cannot call it Little Big Planet instead, what if the kids start to spell wrong?) and he is back with a vengeance! While some people may have given up on waiting for Littlebigplanet 2 (LBP 2), which was originally slated to be released on November 2010, which incidentally just passed by last month, some have gone on to perhaps even buy the Littlebigplanet psp version which would help them when they buy Littlebigplanet 2 because it would be a continuation of the story from where the PSP version left off. Just what happens to Sackboy in Littlebigplanet 2? What will be the release date of Littlebigplanet 2? Will that day ever come? Please read on to find out!

LittleBigPlanet has come a long way. If you want to know the Littlebigplanet 2 release date, it is actually January next year and the exact date is 18 January 2011. That is only about less than a month to go! So what happens in Littlebigplanet 2? I must say that I was not given a chance to try out Littlebigplanet 2 beta but I am most impressed with the game by looking at the various videos trailers and introductions. I did have some friends who managed to get the Littlebigplanet 2 beta sign up and they have been playing the Littlebigplanet 2 demo using a Littlebigplanet 2 beta code. They tell me that the game is wonderful and a much improved version of the original Littlebigplanet. If you like the original game, you will definitely love Littlebigplanet 2.  

Enough said! I know everything would seem fuzzy right now because you may not have played the game before or create your own games. Why not look at the Littlebigplanet 2 Trailer to get a better idea of the game. Sit back relax and enjoy the video!

So what is Littlebigplanet 2 all about? Maybe I can surprise you with the focus of the Littlebigplanet 2 Gameplay. The makers stressed that it will be a completely new Play, Create, Share adventure.

• PLAY as in the player gets to play 50 plus levels, something like an adventure game but different kinds of games and obstacles alone the way. You can even choose some multiplayer fun and challenge your friends or other online players. 
• CREATE your own games! Remember that song “Its my creation, yes its real!” Well now you really can create and customise a game to your liking. Check out racing games, mini-games, action/adventure games, and even multiplayer shooters. Last but not least 
• SHARE your games! Go online and upload games which you have created. You can also check out the millions of games which are already online. If you have created a game from the original LittleBigPlanet, do not fear because these games can also be played on LittleBigPlanet 2! Why not you check out the Littlebigplanet 2 trailer first?

So it seems like a really cool game doesn’t it? You also get a full range of gadgets to help you with creating new games and levels. These new gadgets include: a grappling hook for platforming, the Creatinator which allows to create items to help you platform, and Power Gloves with which you can toss and move large objects in-game. Also don’t forget the Cinematic Cut-Scene Maker which allows you to create custom cutscenes for use in-game and the improved search and share functionality! Imagine a game that will never run out of new levels to play! If you have always wanted to be a game creator this is your chance and you never know when you will be talent spotted! Do not forget you get to play multiplayer too with up to 4-player support online and offiline in created games too. There is also something special that will be included in Littlebigplanet 2. This is the Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves game also meant for the Playstation 3. This game is a spin-off of the Littlebigplanet game and can be played with two to five players. However it would require a PlayStation Move controller and a PlayStation Eye Camera. It has ten prehistoric-themed levels and was first released to PlayStation Plus subscribers. It will be available to other users from 14 December, 2010 for America and in Europe on 15 December, 2010. The good thing is this game will be bundled with LittleBigPlanet 2 when it's released.

So my last question is what happens in Littlebigplanet 2? As previously mentioned, gamers get to continue Sackboy's journey after the events of the first game and the playstation portable version of the game are brought to an end. In case you want to buy these games as well, I have included them on the right so you can purchase them too. There is a LittleBigPlanet: Game of the Year Edition and I do recommend that you get that. To tell you the gist of the story, an inter-dimensional vacuum cleaner known as Negativitron has come over the skies of LittleBigPlanet and began to suck up all of its inhabitants, including Sackboy. Larry Da Vinci, the leader of a semi-secret organisation known as "The Alliance", comes to Sackboy's rescue. Sackboy then teams up with them to battle with the forces of evil before Craftworld is destroyed.
