Who would have thought up of the concept of mixing games or boardgames with lego? Well I guess the toy makers at lego have been smart enough to see this coming and come up with this ingenious brand new idea! Anyways are you familiar with greek mythology? Well perhaps you might have heard of the term minotaur? The minotaur is a mythical monster with half the body of an ox and half the body of a human. I shall not go into the specifics of how the minotaur was created given that the lego minotaurus game is a lego game for kids but then I guess Lego decided to rename the minotaur minotaurus. They are the same thing I would suppose. For this hub, I would be talking briefly about the Minotaurus lego game and also provide the a Lego minotaurus Game review.

Lego Minotaurus Rules

As with all the other Lego games, the Lego minotaurus boardgame is to be assembled by the players using normal lego bricks. So far, the Lego minotaurus has been the most popular of all Lego games ever introduced. You can also check out my other hub on the Lego Lava Dragon game. To provide some Lego minotaurus instructions of the game, each player is given a hero in the form of a lego micro figure and the objective of the game is to get your heroes to the center of the board first. Of course things are not so easy because there are hedges and walls that create the maze of the minotaurus’ lair and furthermore there is also the minotaurus that eats up heroes for lunch! The amount of space you’re your hero can walk is determined by the roll of your die. In addition, this is a special die consisting of different colours representing the various heroes in the maze. If however the die lands on black, the player can then move the Minotaur 8 spaces, and if he reaches one of your opponents, he is eaten up and goes back to the starting point. If the die lands on grey, the player can then move a grey wall brick to block an opponents' path, or to keep the Minotaur from reaching your hero.

Lego Minotaurus Game Review

The Lego minotaurus rules sounds simple right? The player who manages to get his hero to reach the center first wins but as with all lego games you can create your own rules and even make it such that all heros need to reach the centre for the game to end. Such rules would encourage team work and one of the guys can just play the bad minotaur. There are just endless variations to try out. You can also enable the green die option, which enables your hero to jump over a hedge. So you can build your own die and use the different colours to specify your own requirements. Kids would be stuck to this game for a very long time. Your kids would be wanting to play this every night!
