Lego Hogwarts Castle

Hello there once again folks! If you have been paying attention, I have been introducing some cool lego games sets on my hubs. Lego just released a new Lego game in August 2010 and that is the Lego Hogwarts set! Do not be confused with the Lego game sets (there is a Lego Hogwarts Castle that will be released in Oct 2010) but then my hub will touch on that too. I was going to just talk about the Lego Game Lego Hogwarts, but unfortunately that hub address was already taken. So no worries, this hub will not only talk about the Lego Game Lego Hogwarts but also the Latest Harry Potter Lego sets to be released this coming October! Just in time for Christmas if you might say! Ho Ho Ho I am just going to buy a whole sack of lego games and go distribute them like Santa Claus!

So what is this Lego Hogwarts game about? If you have my other hubs or you have some knowledge of Lego games, you would already know that when you play Lego games, you not only get a use a unique buildable dice, but you also get to build your game set from scratch using lego pieces. That is not all. Do not forget that you can customise the Lego Game to whatever you want. That means to say that you create your own rules. Of course there is already a set of instructions included within the lego game set. It is always recommended that you play the Harry potter Lego Hogwarts games using the included instructions first. Once you get the hang of things, you can always change the rules and make your own rules!

So the game play is simple. The game set is actually the Harry Potter Hogwarts castle, hence the name Lego Hogwarts. If you want to build the harry potter Hogwarts castle using lego itself, do scroll down to check where you can build this new lego set. If not, and you are interested in playing the game, it is also fun building the game set, which is a simpler Hogwarts castle. In this game, there can be a maximum of four players and minimum of two players representing each of the four Hogwarts houses. The objective of the game is to race your character to collect items from four classrooms. But things are not so simple because your opponents can always create obstacles to stop you from achieving your objective. You can rotate staircases or relocate classrooms simply to stall the enemy. As kids think of plans and strategies to hinder their opponents, it is educational in a way and there is just so much fun!

Then comes the time when you want to create your own rules. You can add your own lego bricks to change the structure of the Lego Hogwarts castle. Even having a Lego Hogwarts map is not going to help you this time! You also get to receive special microfigures of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Malfoy and Dumbledore which cannot be found in other Lego games or Lego sets. In the official instructions, you can get Dumbledore to lead your game character down two secret passages. There is also miss norris who can be added to block other students. The infamous "moving staircases" can also occur when a certain image is rolled on the dice. Then again you can always change these rules and each character can be given a different function instead. Depending on what kind of instructions you set, you can play a fast game of 20 minutes or maybe longer if you want to!

If you are a person who loves playing boardgames, this is simply the best game you can ever play. Not to mention if you are a harry potter fan, then this game set is a must buy. Love playing snake and ladders or monopoly? Well this board game would give Harry Potter fans a cheer as they finally have a board game which they can call their own. The gameboard and game pieces are even about the size of the box so that you do not really need to deconstruct the set after every play! This Harry potter lego Hogwarts lego game includes the following pieces and parts:

• 1 buildable LEGO Dice
• 9 LEGO microfigures
• 5 Special microfigures including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger™, Ron Weasley™, Draco Malfoy™ and Albus Dumbledore™
• 4 Hogwarts student microfigures (one from each house who will become your player characters)
• 332 LEGO pieces to build the Lego Hogwarts boardgame set
• 1 rule booklet
• 1 building instruction booklet

As I mentioned, check out the latest Harry potter sets shown on the right. These sets will be released on Oct 2010 but they are available for pre-order now. I would advise all harry potter fans to make their orders now before it is too late. These days fans are always frantically queuing for things that they want so to avoid disappoint it is always better to pre-order! 

Of special mention is the Lego Hogwarts castle 2010 which is the star attraction for the upcoming harry potter lego release. Of course there have been Harry potter castle lego sets released previously, but this particular release is to tie in with the latest and last Harry potter movie titled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, of which part one will be released this year in November. This harry potter lego set is Lego Hogwarts castle 4842, note this number 4842 in case you end up buying up the older lego harry potter castle. Of course we should not forget the older harry potter lego sets. I simply love legos don’t you? Well check out the Lego Hogwarts express which is one of the more popular harry potter lego sets. Though there is a new Lego Hogwarts express set 4841 featured, there are the other sets such as 4708, 4758 and 10132 which is a motorised set. Also included with the set are the Lego Hogwarts express instructions. These building instructions are always available inside the lego sets. There are people out there who create their own harry potter lego sets and I must say that they are really magnificent and amazing!
