Buy Cosmetics

Hello there! This is yet another hub which talks about cosmetics and how to buy cosmetics. In my other cosmetic hubs, I have introduced three good different brands of cosmetics, which are Mark Cosmetics, Rosie Jane Cosmetics as well as Jane Cosmetics. Now for this hub of mine, I would be teaching you how to buy cosmetics. Maybe you are a smart lady and having bought many cosmetics you are now an expert at buying cosmetics. Well let’s just say that this is a simple hub created to help young girls and teenagers who have just grown up and are newly entering the world of cosmetics. There are actually many things to look out for when you buy some cosmetics at your favourite departmental store. So let us take a look at some of these things you should take note of.

First of all, you have to decide whether you are buying your cosmetics online or at the departmental store. If you buy your cosmetics online, there are generally cheaper in price because the costs used by the company in the process of marketing cosmetics is not passed down to the consumers. Of course, this hub is more suited for those who intend to buy cosmetics from the cosmetics store. If you wish to buy cosmetics online, it is best that you have tried that cosmetic before, liked it and hence you would now want to replenish your stock and since buying online is cheap so why not? In fact, the online internet is one of the best places to buy cheap cosmetics. There are also some online stores which offer discount coupons (such as discount benefit cosmetics), thus you can even buy discount cosmetics online! You can also buy organic cosmetic products online.

On this hub, I have added some cosmetics which are some of the bestselling cosmetics online. You might want to have a look at these products and if you are interested, you might want to buy these cosmetics. I guarantee you that these are great buys! However, if you have the intention to check out a particular brand or item of cosmetics, it is best that you buy the cosmetics from the store.

One of the main reasons why you should buy cosmetics from the store is that there would be a customer service representative who would be able to answer any questions you have at the cosmetics counter. Furthermore, you would be able to sample the cosmetics and also have a look at the physical item, its container, real colour etc.

Before proceeding down to the cosmetics counter, you might first want to check out the brand or the item online. You can also compare the different types and brands available on the market and see what the companies say about their own products. You can also check out the ingredients found in the cosmetics, the finish, the pros and cons (such as any persons reported to be allergic to the cosmetics) before you go down to the mall. This way, you would also be knowledgeable about the product and won’t just take the words of the cosmetics sales rep at face value.

When you are at the cosmetics counter, you can request for a makeover. However do check that there are no financial obligations if you are to undergo one. Also take your time to look at the different variety of products on display. Usually at the cosmetics counter, there would be some Q-tips and cotton balls available to allow you to test out the products. Do be cautious when you try out the cosmetics and use your wrist as a tester. For example, if it is a lipstick you are trying, do not apply it to your lips! You can use the lip stick on your wrist to feel the texture and look at the colour of the lip stick. If you are trying a fragrance, similarly you can spray the fragrance on your wrist and take a whiff of the scent.

If you think that the cosmetics product is not bad, do remember to ask for samples to bring back home and perhaps try out for a few days, before you make the decision to buy the cosmetic products. I know some people may look at the small samples and do not want to even touch them. I can assure you that using the samples is a very normal thing and you need not afraid that people think of you as a cheapskate or just looking for something free. The amount provided is very small anyway.

So after trying out the samples, or testing out the cosmetics at the counter, you have decided on the decision to buy the cosmetics. If you are on a budget, buy the more important cosmetics first, such as foundation or lipstick. If you already have a list of items to buy, please still buy with care, and ensure that the cosmetics sales rep is giving you what you really need and that your requirements are met. If there are any freebies, do check that there will not be any additional charges. But in all other cases, do ask the cosmetics sales rep if there are any freebies or samples that you can bring home!
